I have been creating in clay for about 50 years, that long...........and still going. The medium of clay has always kept my artistic talents challenged. I started with "Play Doe" as a child and grew to cups & bowls in high school. I was hooked on learning this "clay thing" and studied in several different Art Centers. In college I was lucky to build a salt fired kiln and explored various glazes. After graduating with a ceramics degree I covered the world with my hand made tiles, displaying my creations at Art & Craft shows. I have extensively explored texture  using antique lace, curly maple wood, stamping with thrift store finds or having rubber stamps created from my original drawings.  Raku was my favorite way of firing for several years and gave me treasured breakage for use in mosaics.

Today I share my passion teaching Art at the High School level and sell my creations at shows and on line.
My Motto:

“From my heart, through my hands, to you!”
